SOLD-Vintage Corde Bead White Beaded Evening Bag by Lumered-Chain Handle

Here is a beautiful beaded true Corde Bead Lumered evening bag with white and clear beads and perfect for a well-heeled evening on the town.

Clearly labeled with the Corde Bead by Lumered, Made in USA" logo, though very faint. Style and provenance from the mid-century era, most likely 1950's to early 60's.

The beads are hand sewn to a twined lattice matrix which overlays a cotton cloth body. The frame and hinge are gold-tone metal and feature a firm snap clasp. The strap is a petite gold tone curb chain.

The interior is cotton and acts as a backing for the mesh lattice. There are no interior pockets.

There is some light age staining on the interior fabric and a few light spots on the exterior on one side.

Overall, this purse is in fine condition and the exterior especially shines!

The bag is about 7.5" wide and 6.5" tall, and the chain is about 11"
